It is always fun to look back at previous NBA drafts and see how they panned out.  Who were the busts?  Who is thriving in the NBA now?  Here is a look back at the 2004-2005 NBA Draft

The Stud:
Dwight Howard - The can't miss guy of the draft and the top overall pick has done nothing but have success in the NBA.  Sure he could shoot a bit better free throw, but other than that it is hard to find any negatives about his game.  Dwight Howard is simply dominant and is still quite young.

The Stars:
Ben Gordon - One of the true pure scorers in the NBA.  When he is hot the points come in waves and waves.  Thrived in Chicago and is now in Detroit.  Currently is out with a groin injury and the Pistons are missing his scoring punch.

Josh Smith - One athletic young man.  Having good success in Atlanta where the young Hawks are making waves in the Eastern Conference.  A shot blocker and explosive dunker, Josh Smith is still only 24 and averaging 15 points a game this year.

Jameer Nelson - Last year was to be the breakout year for Nelson, but an injury ended the 2nd half of his season.  He is back this year and averaging 12 points per game and almost 5 assists, but has not gotten back to his form of last year.

Al Jefferson - The potential to be a dominant player in the NBA.  Unfortunately, he is in the wasteland that is Minnesota so he goes largely unnoticed. He is cruising along at 18 points per game this year to go along with 9.5 rebounds.  Watch out if he ever gets out of Minnesota.

Andre Iguodala - A true stud in Philly.  Well known on the East coast but not a national star despite 18 points a game, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.  Good good numbers.

Devin Harris - Was breaking out in Dallas before being traded to New Jersey for Jason Kidd.  Had a wonderful start in New Jersey before some injuries derailed him.  Now New Jersey is so bad nobody really pays attention to him.  If New Jersey ever improves or if he ever gets traded he'll be back on the radar screen in a big way.

The Flops:
Shaun Livingston - Taken 4th overall by Atlanta, Shaun never panned out as he was sidelined by injuries.

Robert Swift - Taken 12th by Seattle.......who?
